Forest School

Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It is a long-term program that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.

Forest School Association

All children in the setting will have regular opportunities to attend Forest School sessions.  We have done lots of work including planting new trees and hedging and moving earth and chippings to create new areas and pathways. Outdoor buildings provide space where we can hold reference resources, equipment and display children's work.  The mud kitchen is a very popular resource along with the magnifying glasses, building blocks, den building equipment and the pond.

We have been practising our fine motor skills
